Happy 4th of July, everyone!

If you look closely, they have little cup-shaped stones or bowls. Each has a writing on it (i.e. WEALTH, LOTTO, HAPPINESS, LONG LIFE). Well, none of my pennies landed on any one of those. They all went into the water.

We had lunch at Empress Pavilion, which is a Dim Sum place. I didn't really have much to eat because most of the items contain shrimp. Then we started walking around Chinatown trying to look for some illegal fireworks. Unfortunately, we found none. But I found some new stores that sell cute stuff!

My friends and I had a BBQ party at the apartment. After everyone was done eating, we went to the front of the apartment and sparked up some illegal fireworks a friend has bought from somewhere in DTLA.
